Equipment

  • Blender or food processor

Ingredients
  

  • 6 Roma Tomatoes
  • 1 Large Sweet Onion We used 2 small ones
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper, cored
  • 1 Serrano Pepper Optional based on spice preference
  • 1 Jalapeno Pepper Leave seeds in for more spice
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 cup Cilantro give or take based on preference
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat grill to medium heat (around 400°F). Place all ingredients except garlic and cilantro on grill. Blister the outsides, turning occasionally. This process will take approximately 10 - 15 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and place all ingredients in blender. Add salt to taste.

Notes

Note: Tomato skins will peel after grilling.  Remove them before blending salsa.
